Terms
Last updated: 18 May 2026
These terms govern the use of the Dossio service, available at dossio.ch. By using the service, you accept them.
1. Purpose
Dossio is an online tool that helps you put together a rental application dossier: a guided questionnaire, an AI-assisted motivation letter, and the assembly of your supporting documents into a single PDF.
2. Account and access
Using the service requires an account, created with your email address and a magic-link sign-in. You are responsible for access to your email inbox. The service is currently offered free of charge; paid plans will be introduced later and will come with their own terms.
3. Your information and documents
You undertake to provide only accurate information and documents that relate to you, or that you are authorised to use. You remain responsible for the dossier you send to a property manager or landlord, and it is up to you to review your letter and documents before sending anything.
4. Nature of the service — no guarantee of outcome
Dossio helps you present your application clearly and completely. Dossio in no way guarantees that you will obtain housing: the decision rests solely with the property manager or landlord. Nothing provided by the service constitutes legal, tax or real-estate advice.
5. AI-drafted letter
The motivation letter is drafted using an artificial-intelligence model, based solely on the information you provide. Review it carefully: you alone are responsible for its content before sending it.
6. Service availability
We do our best to keep the service available, but it may be temporarily unavailable for technical or maintenance reasons. No availability commitment (SLA) is made at this stage.
7. Intellectual property
The name “Dossio”, the logo, the copy, the code and the design of the site belong to the operator. Reproduction or reuse without prior written authorisation is prohibited. The dossier and letter you generate with the service belong to you.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Swiss law, the operator cannot be held liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service, nor for a decision taken by a property manager or landlord. You use the service at your own responsibility.
9. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. The date at the top of this document shows the version in force. For substantial changes, account holders will be notified by email.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Geneva, subject to the mandatory provisions of consumer protection law.
